Alda Margaret (Simpson) Gibson

Alda Margaret (Simpson) Gibson, 86, of Struthers, Ohio, passed away peacefully January 7, 2024, with her family by her side.

She was born April 5, 1938 in Terra Alta, WV, a daughter of the late James Oliver and Gertie Ruth (Menear) Simpson.

Her husband, Ernest Gibson Sr., son James Gibson, daughter in law Chris (Davidson) Gibson, one grandson and two great grandchildren preceded her in death.

She is survived by four children; Ernest Gibson Jr., Barbara (Mike) Felt, Penny (Mark) Jones, Linda (Ed) Sferra; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and a brother, George Simpson.

Alda loved spending time with her grandchildren, joking, but most all, she loved God with all her heart.

Friends may call at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537 on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10am until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm with Reverend David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Camp ground Cemetery.
