Allen Dewayne Jones

Allen Dewayne Jones, 75, of Rowlesburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1948 in Rowlesburg, a son of the late Henry Webster Jones and Modena C. (Dewitt) Jones.

Allen is survived by his son, Marshal A. Jones; two grandchildren, Collin Baker, Leanna Tesh; two brothers, Roy H. Jones, Lawerence H. Jones and wife Mary; sister in law, Shirley A. Jones, all of Rowlesburg; three sisters, Dora E. Snyder, of Lima, OH, Gloria M. Jackson, of FL, and Hilda Kay Sypolt and husband Glen, of Vermilion, OH.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dawn R. (Spence) Jones; a daughter, Amber R. (Jones) Baker; one sister, Flora K. Wolfe; one brother, John W. Jones; three brother in laws, Arthur L. Snyder, Boyd G. Wolfe, Roy Dean Jackson; and one sister in law, Dorothy L. Jones.

A Memorial Service will be conducted from 1-3pm, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Rowlesburg Volunteer Fire Department, 42 Chestnut Street, Rowlesburg, WV 46425. Cremation services were accorded by Kingwood Funeral Home and Cremation, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537.
