Charlotte Bishop Obituary

Charlotte Ann Bishop, 82, of Kingwood, WV, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Kingwood Healthcare Center. Born on November 24, 1943, in Grafton, she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Edgar Kelly and Anna Jean (Roomsburg) Hardman.

Charlotte was a proud 1961 graduate of Kingwood High School and went on to serve as treasurer for Mountaineer Contracting, where her dedication and reliability left a lasting impression. But beyond her work, Charlotte found her greatest joy in life’s simple, meaningful moments—losing herself in a good book, filling her home with the warmth of baking, and sharing meals made with love.

She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts: her son, Todd Bishop of Albright; her daughter, Kim Teets and her companion Paul Dixon of Kingwood; and her beloved grandchildren, Robbie Bishop and wife Jayme of Kingwood, Allison Teets and companion Mark Thomas of Morgantown, and Aeryonna, Hannah, and Paden Bishop and companion Morgin Swoop, all of Albright. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren—Hunter Bishop, Brody Johnson, and Westin Bishop—as well as her bonus great-grandchildren, Ray Lazare, Elyse Thomas, and Ryleigh Thomas.

She is also survived by her loving siblings: two brothers, Buddy Hardman and wife Joyce of Kingwood, and Jim Hardman of Florida; and her sister, Sue Webber of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her former husband, Tracy Bishop.

Though she has gone from this world, the love she gave so freely and the memories she created will remain a lasting light in the lives of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
