Corey Jackson Uphold

Corey Jackson Uphold, 34, of Albright, WV, passed away on March 14, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.  Born on October 16, 1990, in Kingwood, WV, Corey was the beloved son of Theresa Lynne (Sell) Uphold and the late William Jackson Uphold Jr.

Corey is survived by his loving mother, Theresa Uphold; his precious daughter, Wynter Hope Uphold, and her mother, Jessica Martin; his sister, Rhonda L. Bucklew; his niece, Samantha and great-niece, Kiki; his nephew, Hunter, and great-nephew, Finley; his grandmother, Burga Sell; as well as many extended family members, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Corey was an outdoorsman at heart, finding joy in fishing and hunting. However, above all, his greatest love was his daughter, Wynter Hope Uphold. He cherished every moment spent with her, and his love for her was unwavering.

In addition to his father, Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer "Scrubby" Sell, Jack Uphold, and Donna Uphold.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kingwood Funeral Home, located at 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV.
