Corine Renee Hardman

Corine Renee Hardman, 72, of Vienna, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026. She was born on April 22, 1954, in Morgantown, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Douglas William Hardman Sr. and Eleanor Louise Soccorsi Hardman Pawlak.

Corine is survived by her nephew, Douglas William Hardman II; her stepsister, Kathy Pawlak Guiton; and many cousins and friends.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in her gardens, especially at Crazy Bloomers Mini Farm. Corine was passionate about dog rescue and genealogy, tracing her family’s roots to Italy and Germany while discovering new relatives along the way. She also enjoyed creating ceramics and caring for her ducks.

In addition to her parents, Corine was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Szerdy Sr.; her only brother, Douglas William Hardman Jr.; her stepbrother, Stanley Pawlak; and her beloved dogs, Shamus, Gandolph, Glitz, Murphy, and Roscoe.

In accordance with Corine’s wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest in the family plot alongside her great-great-grandmother, great-grandparents, grandparents, father, husband, and beloved dog, Roscoe. There will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109.
