Dale Eugene Wiles

Dale Eugene Wiles, 73, of Rowlesburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 31, 1951, in Macomber, WV, son of the late Carroll Edward Wiles and Margaret (Loughrie) Wiles.

Dale was a 1969 graduate of Rowlesburg High School and served in the US Army Reserves. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Morgantown Excavating, Clean Coal and Greenbriar Aggregates. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, socializing, and being ornery. Most of all, he loved being “Dad” and “Pap”.

Dale is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beatrice Louise (Burns) Wiles; one son, Jeffrey Wiles, of Rowlesburg; one daughter, Sabrina Skidmore (Darick), of Lost Creek; two grandchildren, Drew and Taylor Skidmore; one brother, David Wiles (Cindy), of Rowlesburg; one sister, Donna Close (Al), of Rowlesburg.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Wiles.
