Darius Kaine Sphar

Darius Kaine Sphar, 12 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at WVU Medicine Children's Hospital with family by his side. He was born on August 27, 2012 in Morgantown, son of Keith Lydell Sphar Jr and Cathleen Marie Moats, Tunnelton. He loved reading, drawing, fishing, camping, riding his bike, watching Netflix, playing video games, going to the movies, causing chaos, spending all his parent’s money, and bossing his siblings. Darius cherished and loved time with family. Darius was in 6th grade at South Preston Junior High School. In addition to his parents, Darius is survived by seven siblings, Verenna Zabeth Queen (Daniel), Sylus Kole Sphar, Lazarus Kade Sphar, Arabelle Maize Sphar, Titus Sebastian Sphar, Annika Sage Sphar, Lucien Caine Sphar; paternal grandparents, Keith Sphar Sr, Albright, Allison “Becky” Moyers (Denzil), Bruceton Mills; maternal grandparents, Mark and Wanda Moats, Tunnelton; maternal great-grandmother, Linda Moats; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by several great grandparents. Family and friends will be received at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 South Price Street Kingwood, WV 26537 on Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
