Denota "Dee" Marie (DeCarlo) Heiskell

Denota “Dee” Marie (DeCarlo) Heiskell, 75, of Kingwood, WV, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at her home. She was born in Uniontown, PA, on October 7, 1949, daughter of the late Bartholomew Leonard DeCarlo and Olive Pearl (Sayers) DeCarlo.

Dee was a graduate of Uniontown High School, West Virginia University, Penn State, WVU of CA and University of PA. She was a special education teacher in Elizabeth City, NC, and Kingwood Elementary School for 38 years. She was a member of the VFW in Elizabeth City, NC. Dee enjoyed baking and taught her niece, Kim, to bake. She also was an avid reader. Dee was loved dearly by her husband, family, friends and her furbabies.

Dee was survived by her husband of 22 years, William “Bill” Kenneth Heiskell; two furbabies, Nellie and Ryker; one brother, Bartholomew DeCarlo; two sisters, Rosemarie Paroda (Kenneth), Evelyn DeCarlo; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Pegg (Ryan), Nicholas Pegg, Nathan Pegg, Kenneth Paroda (Kim), Felicia Paroda, Kenneth Thomas Paroda (Veronica Sutton), Waylon Paroda, Julia DeCarlo, Teresa Case (Scott), Chad Moon, Dean Moon, Bart DeCarlo (Sarah), Jasper DeCarlo, Aurora DeCarlo, Flynn DeCarlo; and close friends, Kandy and Russell Deeters.
