Denzil "Danny" Conley Feather Jr.

Denzil “Danny” Conley Feather Jr., 76, of Cumberland, MD, formerly of Newburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026 at UPMC Eastern Maryland. He was born on September 6, 1949, in Grafton, son of the late Denzil C. Feather Sr. and Helen (Shroyer) Bragg.

Danny was a 1971 graduate of Newburg High School. He had worked as a laborer for the Preston County Sheltered Workshop. Danny was known for being an avid reader, WVU’s #1 fan, and a history and car buff. He was a faithful member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and attended the Newburg United Methodist Church. Danny will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Danny is survived by a nephew and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, James and Mary Roby; sister, Debra Uphold; aunt, Betty Kreiling; and nephew, Lyn Uphold.

Family and friends will be received at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St., Kingwood, on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 12pm to the 1pm funeral hour, with Pastor Michael Ludle. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery (Marquess).
