Donald Lorraine Martin

Donald Lorraine Martin, age 83, of Masontown, passed away peacefully, Monday, June 5, 2023, surrounded by his family.  He was born June 28,1938, in Oakland, MD, a son of the late Percy Robert Martin and Violet Susan (Friend) Martin.  His wife of 62 years, Betty (Riley) Martin, survives.

Donald retired from Sterling Faucet after 39 years of service, where he worked as a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and watching westerns. He spent a lot of time in his garage working on vehicles, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and he was a loving husband, dad and pap pap.

In addition to his wife he is survived by: one son, Donald Lee Martin, Landsdale, PA; two daughters, Lisa Lynn McDaniel and husband Eric Scott McDaniel, of Lakeland, TN, and Michele Dawn Cawthon and husband Jeffery Cawthon, of Reedsville, WV; one granddaughter, Audrey Ana McDaniel, of Lakeland, TN; and one brother, Terry Martin, of Kanes Creek.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: four brothers, James, Percy, Thomas, and Warren Martin.

In honor of his request, cremation will take place. His ashes will be scattered at a later date.
