Dorothy Ellen Dessie Marie (Reckart) Miller

Dorothy Ellen Dessie Marie (Reckart) Miller, 85, of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed gently in her home Friday, November 15, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Mountaindale, WV, November 9, 1939, a daughter of the late Bruce and Fay Reckart. Her husband of 69 years, Wayne Lee Miller, survives.  

Dorothy loved cooking, baking, quilting parties, bowling and card games. She attended the Little Sandy Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her husband she is survived by: two children, Diana Fay Miller, and Stephen Vaugn Miller; one daughter in law, Debbie Miller Fike; one sister, Geraldine McElroy; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one son, Michael Stewart Miller, and brothers, Dempsey Reckart, Franklin Reckart, and Robert Reckart.

Cremation services will be accorded by Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
