Elizabeth Ann (Zinn) Poland

Elizabeth Ann (Zinn) Poland, 83, of Tunnelton, WV, went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 2, 2026, with family by her side. She is the daughter of the late Donnas and Hilda Morris Zinn. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Poland; son, Rodney Poland; daughter, Lisa Z. Poland (Bryson); daughter-in-law, Lisa Ann Poland; grandson, Alec Poland; siblings, Shirley Gainer, Charles Zinn (Karen), Janis Bolyard (Larry), Diane Zinn; and several nieces and nephews that she cherished. In addition to her parents, she is now reunited with Donna Jean, Eleanor Hawkins (Sam), Randy Zinn, Paula McGinnis (Ronnie), and her Poland family.

Elizabeth was a loving Sister, Wife, Mother, Nanny, Aunt, and Friend. She was proud to be a stay-at-home Mom, providing a loving home for her husband and children. She attended all of their school and athletic events and enjoyed chauffeuring them and their friends to ballgames. The unconditional love that she showed to all of her family was truly comforting. Elizabeth worked at Tri-M for eight years. She was a wonderful cook and was known for her chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. She never met a stranger and loved traveling and going to the casino. Elizabeth was a strong woman who overcame many health issues. She will be sorely missed by all, but she won the battle, and Heaven is now her home.

Family and friends will be received at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St., on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10am until the 11am funeral hour, with Reverend Michael Argabrite officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. View Cemetery.
