Randy was a dedicated and devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather for 69 years. His mom commented that he was so smart that it surprised her that he could do calculus. He went on to have a successful and long career as a civil engineer. He cherished his parents, siblings, and childhood and forever loved the small town way of living.
His greatest joy was his children and grandchildren. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, and watching sports with his boys. He would get extremely excited to watch football and loved hanging out to watch a game. With his intense love of boy activities, Nothing made him happier than hanging with his girls at Oglebay, watching his girls sing, or a random shopping trip. He enjoyed his granddaughters and spoiled them as much as he could.
His greatest love of all was his Debbie who he was married to for 48 years. She stood by him and was a light to him through it all as he often referred to her as his “angel”.
Randy was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, and an avid churchgoer having attended St Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
