Florence Roletta (Waybright) Trenum, age 90, of Augusta, WV, formerly of Rowlesburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Romney, WV. Florence was born on October 7, 1934, in Rowlesburg, WV, to the late Burgess Lee Waybright, Sr. and Myrtle Geraldine (Nice) Waybright. Florence had a variety of hobbies that kept her busy, including quilting (a skill at which she was exceptionally talented), baking, cooking, crocheting, completing word search puzzles, and watching her favorite TV shows. She also had a deep love for animals.
Florence leaves behind a large and loving family, including four sons: Charles Waybright of Rowlesburg, Dennis Trenum (Cammy) of Inwood, Kenneth Trenum (Mary) of Capon Bridge, and Gregory Trenum Jr. (Janet) of Currie, NC; one daughter, Peggy Wolford (Butch) of Rowlesburg; 14 grandchildren: Scott Wolford (Laah), Brandilyn Trenum, Butch Wolford (Brandy), Brian Trenum, Joshua Trenum, Summer Turner, Jordan Trenum, Cody Trenum, Katlin Trenum, Traci Barrientos, Stephanie Lycliter, and Kaitlyn Lycliter, Gabriel Campbell (Amy), and Megan Hayes (Doug) 22 great-grandchildren: Hunter, Kendall, Julianna T., Colson, Aliyah, Lukas, Lyric, Nicole, Ryan, Jase, Jacob, Bailey, Knox, Julianna B., Kayden, Aurora, Zack, Abbey, Liam, Maddox, Nora, and Kenzie; and one sister, Mary Phillips of OH.
In addition to her husband and parents, Florence was preceded in death by one son, John Alan; three brothers, Roy Straley, Delbert Waybright, and Burgess Waybright Jr.; and one sister, Betty Rose Stemple.
