Francis “Frank” Loyd Wolfe Jr., 79, of Albright, WV, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 15, 1946 in Preston County, son of the late Francis Loyd Wolfe Sr. and Dorothy Marie (Lazzell) Wolfe.
Frank proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. Following his service, he worked as a preparation plant foreman for Coastal Coal. He enjoyed playing country music and older rock n roll on his guitar. Frank was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2931, in Kingwood.
Frank is survived by his wife of sixty years, Bonnie Jean (Martin) Wolfe; daughter, Trena Wolfe and companion Jeff Dietz, of Albright; son, Francis “Frank” Wolfe III and wife Lynn; grandson, Trenton Wolfe, all of Bruceton Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Randy Wolfe; three sisters, Joyce Casteel, Helen Yonker, and Sherry Helman.
