Freda Marie (Plum) Conner

Freda Marie (Plum) Conner, 98, of Uniontown, PA, formerly of Preston, WV, passed away peacefully Friday, August 9, 2024 in the WVU Uniontown Hospital. She was born May 7, 1926 in Preston, WV.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank Wesley Plum and Charlotte Durr Plum, husband, Willie Conner, daughters, Ellen Patricia Baker and Mary June Johnson, and four siblings: Pauline Friend, Dick Plum, Dorothy Stone, and Gay Maneer.

Freda was a very loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a faithful believer and member of Bible Baptist Church, Uniontown, PA.

Surviving are three children, Helen May Howell, of Uniontown, and Lottie Marie “Peggy” Zweyer, and Donald Wayne Conner (Jennie), all of Masontown, WV, a special grandson, Levi Zweyer, Jr., of Masontown, WV, 51 grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren, sister, Martha Hagues, of Ohio, and many, many, nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. At 7 PM a service will be held with Pastor Dale Redick officiating. Additional visitation will be held Thursday from 12 to 2:00 PM, the hour of funeral service, at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Freda be made to the Bible Baptist Church Bus Fund, 1 Evergreen Terrace, Uniontown, PA  15401.
