Gary Louis Duckworth

Gary Louis Duckworth, 65, of Kingwood died Friday, October 4, 2019 at Mon General Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born September 30, 1954, in Kingwood, a son of the late Joseph and Lillian Tasker Duckworth.

Gary served honorably in the US Marine Corp and the WV Army National Guard, was a grader for Allegheny Wood Products and loved to play his guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Miller Duckworth, his daughter, Kimberly Groves and husband, Justin of Kingwood; three brothers, Arthur Duckworth and wife, Cleo of La Vergne, TN, George Duckworth and wife, Sharon of Grafton and Claude Duckworth and wife, Reba of Waverly, TN; his sister, Myrtle Phillips and husband, Terry of Rowlesburg and two grandchildren, Aubree and Charlise.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Buddy and Delbert Duckworth and a sister, Lillian Adams.

Friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Tuesday, October 8 from 5 to 8 pm where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, October 9, 2019 with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.  Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery.
