Glenn “Buckshot” Edward Miller, 77, of Albright, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was born on January 25, 1949, in Albright, a son of the late Glenn Watson Miller and Garnet Marie (Ryan) Miller.
Buckshot was a proud Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association, a lifetime member of VFW Post #826, and a member of American Legion Post #174. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. He was an avid Civil War buff, and enjoyed visiting Gettysburg and other battle sites.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Sue (Guido) Miller; two sons, Michael James Dixon and his wife Charlene, and Shawn Edward Miller and his wife, Rosalie; three grandchildren, Hope Dixon, Carson Miller, and Gavin Miller; two sisters, Linda Johnson and Effie Varner and her husband, Richard; two sisters-in-law, Mary Soccorsi and Juanite Reis; and his treasured dog, Coal.
In addition to his parents, Buckshot was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Miller, Judy Harris, John Miller, and Ellen Miller.
Friends may gather for visitation on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 South Price Street, Kingwood. A short visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Joe Lamm officiating. Interment will follow at West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, with full military honors will be accorded by the Preston County Honor Guard and the West Virginia Army Honor Guard.
