Hallie Louise Emerson

Hallie Louise Emerson, 32, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away at WVU J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was born May 21, 1993, in Kingwood, WV, a daughter of William “Bill” Lee Emerson and Rebecca “Beck” Sue (Parks) Emerson.

Hallie was a 2010 graduate of Preston High School. She enjoyed word searches, coloring, and paint-by-number games on her iPad, and she especially loved spending time playing cards with her grandmother. Hallie also loved talking on the phone and keeping up with the people she cared about.

In addition to her parents, Hallie is survived by her paternal grandmother, Katheline Emerson, of Kingwood; one brother, Beau Emerson and his wife, Katie, of Swanton, MD; one niece, Quinn Emerson; one nephew, Hank Emerson; two aunts, Debbie Park, of Kingwood, and Karen Chroussis and her husband, Paul, of Terra Alta; one uncle, Marty Hughes and his wife, Lisa; and three cousins, Michael Lowdermilk, of Kingwood, and Brandi Hughes, Marty Hughes, both of Pennsylvania.

Hallie was preceded in death by her beloved dog, King; three grandparents, Patricia Park, Richard Park, and David Emerson; one uncle, Wade Lowdermilk; and two cousins, Sara and Monica Chroussis.

Friends may call on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Derek Syruws.
