With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Heath Allen Rodeheaver of Kingwood, WV. He died at the age of 55 surrounded by his mother, wife and son. He is the son of late Alton R. (Bub) and Hope E. Rodeheaver, and the husband of Donna Hooser Rodeheaver and their son Preston Cole Rodeheaver.
Heath attended Albright Elementary School and graduated from Central Preston High School in 1986. He was an electrician by trade and worked in maintenance at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, WV. Heath previously worked in Colliersville, TN at Banks Electric for 30 years.
Heath loved animals - especially horses and dogs. He had a great affection for Scamp, his first American Quarterhorse and training dogs for hunting as well as herding. Most recently he could be found on the sidelines of sporting events cheering on his son, Preston. Heath also had a creative passion for woodworking, making many beautiful furniture pieces for his family.
He is survived by his brother, Todd & Karen Rodeheaver and their children Bryan and Sydney; sister Paige and Keith Clay; Nancy and Darren Betler along with Dillon, Ella and her partner Brandon; Sister-in-law Jolene Downs and her children Matthew, Anna and Mason. His Aunt and Uncle, Donna and Clinton Metheny along with Cara; And his four-legged friends, Bella & Roxy.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 2 – 5 PM. A Celebration Life will be celebrated at 5 PM, December 2, 2023, at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Lamb officiating. Upon his wishes, he will be cremated.
