Herman "Phil" Phillip Wilhelm Jr.

Herman “Phil” Phillip Wilhelm, Jr., 73, of Kingwood, passed away at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. 

Born on November 18, 1952, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Herman was the son of the late Herman Phillip Wilhelm, Sr. and Helen (Knopp) Wilhelm.

Phil shared 53 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Elizabeth Amelia (DeWitt) Wilhelm. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Tanya L. Smith and Shana M. Wilhelm; his three grandchildren, Dakota Daff, Austin Daff, and Kloe Wilhelm; his sister, Tina Wooten and her husband, Jack; his three nephews, Trey, Tyler, and Tommy; and his son-in-law, Jamie Smith.

Phil was a member of Masonic Lodge #90 A.F. & A.M. in Kingwood, West Virginia. He worked as a custodian for the Preston County Board of Education, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.

Phil will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
