Isaac David Barker, 19, of Reedsville, passed away, Saturday, June 1, 2024, from the arms of his mother, father and loving family into the arms of Jesus. He was born in Morgantown, WV, a son of John and Kendra (Snider) Barker.
He enjoyed playing with his brother, singing with his mom, car rides with his dad, watching TV and sports with Poppy, napping in his grandma’s arms, supervising his grandpa’s projects around the house, gathering with family and friends, and being the center of attention in his family. Isaac certainly let his light shine in this world to glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16) through the struggles he endured and often miraculously overcame in his life with his precious smile and spirit.
In addition to his parents he is survived by: one brother, John Daniel Barker II and Raegan Knotts; paternal grandparents, Jack and Sharon Barker; maternal grandparents, W. Kenny and Linda Snider; maternal great grandmother, Helen Jones; his aunt, Sarah (Barker) and Kevin Osborne, and cousins, Violet, Jack, and Lila; his aunt Rachael (Barker) and Valentin Negrete, and cousins Emma, Christopher, and Clara; his aunt Kelly (Snider) and Justin Kurilko, and cousins Noah and Kaylin.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his many nurses, doctors, and teachers. Your outstanding care and kind compassion will never be forgotten.
