Obituary
Lanny Lee Maier, 77, of Monaca, PA passed away on Friday, May 19th, 2023 at Celebration Villa, Beaver, PA. He was born February 10, 1946 in Grafton, WV, son of the late Wallace L. and Mabel Virginia Danser Maier. Lanny graduated from Aliquippa High School.
Lanny served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked at Applied Energy Services.
Lanny is survived by three sons and two grandchildren: Kristopher M. Maier and his wife Carolyn and daughter Ashleigh, Jeffrey S. Maier and his wife Amanda, and Michael L. Maier and his son Chance.
In addition to his parents, Lanny was preceded in death by his brother Gregory Maier and sister Judie Barr.
Private Graveside service was held at Mount View Cemetery on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Military honors was accorded by the honor details of VFWs and Vietnam Veterans of Preston County and the US Air Force Honor Guard.
