Laura Evans Bolyard, age 67, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, in Morgantown, with her family by her side. She was born November 7, 1956, a daughter of the late Marion Samuel Asbury Knight and Anna May (Poling) Calhoun. Her husband Lawrence Bolyard preceded her in death.
Laura was a graduate of Thompson High School, Pittsburgh, PA. She was a loving homemaker, and she enjoyed knitting and craftwork. She was also a member of First Christian Apostolic Church in Tunnelton, WV.
She was survived by one son, Robert James Early and wife Mary, of Martinsburg, WV; one daughter, Melissa Owens and Reuben, of Tunnelton, WV; three sisters, Kathy Knight, of Tunnelton, WV, Dolly Price, of Florida, Maxine Satterfield, of Independence, WV; five granddaughters Kelly Tusing, Brittney Little and John, Adara Adams, Savannah Early, and Makenzie Early; six great grandsons, Jaxon Rogers, Marcus Adams, Antonio Early, Jordan Tusing, Braxton and Clayton Owens; one great granddaughter, Brooklynn Tusing; and her precious dog Tiny.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, on Thursday, February 8th from 2-6 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday February 9, 2024 at 11am, at the funeral home, with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow be at Mt. View Cemetery, Tunnelton, WV.
