Linda M. "Linnie" Dalton

Linda “Linnie” M. (Williams) Dalton, age 63, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Madison Center, Morgantown, WV. She was born on May 29, 1961 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Earl Williams and Linda Mae (Sweet) Williams.

Linnie graduated from Morgantown High School and worked for the Department of Energy as a Government Vehicle Dispatcher for 27 years. She enjoyed knitting, especially baby blankets, and taking care of her house plants. She loved writing letters and wrote “Santa Claus” letters to the Department of Energy employees’ children.

Linnie is survived by two sisters, Amy Williams, of Kingwood, Penny Williams, of Alabama; a companion, Bink Gamble, of Masontown; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Linnie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charles Williams; and one sister, Kelly Sapp.

Cremation services will be accorded by Kingwood Funeral Home and Cremation, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at the Fellowsville Assembly of God Church, 3767 George Washington Hwy. Tunnelton WV 26444.
