Linda Lee (Christopher) Mayne

Linda Lee (Christopher) Mayne, 77, of Kingwood passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Windy Hill Assisted Living in Kingwood, WV.  She was born December 31, 1946, in Kingwood WV, a daughter of the late Gilbert Oscar and Virginia (Metheny) Christopher. Her husband, Carlus Mayne, preceded her in death May 18, 2017.

Linda was a 1964 graduate of Kingwood High School. She had previously worked at the Dairy Mart, WesBanco, was a telephone operator for Hopemont Hospital.

Surviving are: one son, Johnathan Mayne and wife Tara, of Millwood, WV; one grandson Henry Nathaniel Mayne, of Millwood, WV; two sisters, Patty Bauer, of Warren, OH, and Thelma Jean Garbart, of Kingwood.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two infant sons, Timothy and Gregory Mayne.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, on Saturday, January 27th from 3-6 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 6 pm, at the funeral home, with Reverend David Spence officiating. A private interment will be held at Sugar Valley Cemetery, Valley Point.
