Loretta Maxine (Moran) Oleksa

Loretta Maxine Oleksa, loving mother and grandmother, age 79, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Kingwood Healthcare Center.  She was born in Independence, WV December 29, 1944, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Kathryn (Buckingham) Moran. 

Surviving are: her daughter, Ronda Mason and Jason Shafferman, of Newburg, WV; her grandchildren, Caitlin Mason and Christian Shreves, of Fairmont, Cody Mason, of Fairmont, Hailey Mason, of Newburg, and Jessie Mason, of Fairmont; two brothers, Clarence Griffith and Alan Moran; and one sister Janis Mayfield. And many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: four brothers, Edward Moran, Jerry Moran, Larry Griffith, and Bobby Moran; and two sisters, Doris Copenhaver and Patty Jo Coombs.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV on Monday, April 1st from 12 noon until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home, at 2 pm, Monday, April 1, 2024, with Reverend David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
