Margaret Ellen (Touey) Graves, 101, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at The Country Retreat in Albright. She was born on March 31, 1924 in Chesapeake City, Maryland, daughter of the late Martin Touey and Mabel (Blansfield) Touey.
Margaret had worked as a secretary for Mercy Hospital in New York. She was a member of the Mt. View United Methodist Church and the Tunnelton Senior Center, which was her favorite place. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, gardening, sewing and boating. She faithfully babysat many of her grandchildren and being with her family brought her the most joy.
Margaret is survived by one son, John Graves and wife Rita, of Baldwin, NY; four daughters, Dawn Shannon and husband Roger, of Tunnelton, Patricia Vivona, of Tunnelton, WV, Nancy Mancini, of Port Charlotte, FL, Joan Susan Ferraris and husband Bob, of Port Charlotte, FL; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren on the way.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Edwin Graves; one son, Glenn Graves; one daughter, Barbara Rodriquez and husband Robert; one brother, John Touey; and one sister, Helen DeSantis.
Family and friends will be received at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St., Kingwood, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm and Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10am until the 11am funeral hour, with Pastor Mike Matlick officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. View Cemetery.
