Martha Edna (May) Sypolt

Martha Edna Sypolt, 77, of Kingwood passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Mon General Hospital with loving family by her side.

She was born August 2, 1944 in Kingwood, a daughter of the late William and Pauline Shrout May.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She married Ronald E. Sypolt on January 4, 1963.

She is survived by her five sons, Ronald Jr; Robert L, Johnny L, Scott A and wife, Brenda A. all of Kingwood; and Sonny J. and wife, Connie of Tunnelton; a brother, Gary May of Kingwood, a sister, Nancy May of Ohio; brother and sister in-laws, Kenneth and Angie Sypolt, Delmer and Carla Sypolt and Gary Sypolt all of Kingwood; Charlotte and Ken Mosley of Albright; six grandchildren, Matthew Sypolt, Casey Feather, Franklin Stout, Ashley Smith, Edna Plum and Bradley Sypolt; fourteen great grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany, Dakota, Isabella, Jayden, Raelynn Plum, Nevaen, Hunter, Carson Stout, Shaylynn, Kadance Feather, Clemtine, Mateo, Bradley Jr, Sypolt;

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald E. Sypolt in 1993; a grandson, Cody L. Sypolt and daughter in-law, Tammy Bohon; seven brothers and one sister and one sister in-law.

The family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Thursday October 28, 2021 from 11 am till 1 pm the funeral hour, with Reverend Ray Frankhouser Officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
