Marvin Lynn Feather

Marvin Lynn Feather, 64, of Morgantown, WV, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Marvin was born on November 1, 1961, in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Woodrow Lawrence Feather and Barbara Lee (Carper) Feather.

Marvin worked as a mechanic throughout his life, a profession he truly enjoyed until his retirement. He was known for loving a cold beer, good conversation, and never missing the chance to talk with those around him. Above all, Marvin loved his children and grandchildren deeply, and he cherished every moment he was able to spend with them.

Marvin is survived by his three children, Chasity Dawn Rhodes, Jennifer Rose Wilgis (Joe), and Marvin Lynn Feather, Jr. (Delvonna); seven grandchildren, Shawn Rhodes, Dillon Rhodes, Emma Lewis, Marvin Feather, Britton Feather, Liona Feather, and Danielle Hogan; one great-granddaughter, Jaylynn; and three siblings, David Feather (Judy), Kevin Feather (Patty), and Mindy Newbrough.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debbie Bell (Hoover) Feather, and one sister, Serena Beavers.
