Michael "Mike" Lynn Bulford

Michael “Mike” Lynn Bulford, 68, of Rowlesburg, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his home. Mike was born on May 28, 1957 in Kingwood, son of the late James Richard Bulford and Emogean Alta (Lee) Bulford.

Mike was a 1978 graduate of Rowlesburg High School. Before he retired, he worked as a logger for Sanders Sawmill, Timber Cutter and Sheidow Bronze. Mike loved hunting, fishing and camping with his grandkids. His favorite thing to do was play Santa for all the kids. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife and family, and eating his wife’s cooking. His grandkids were and will always be his pride and joy.

Mike is survived by his wife of forty years, Lois Jean (Sisler) Bulford; two sons, Jeremy Bulford (Heather), Cody Bulford (Brittany), both of Rowlesburg; one daughter, Elizabeth Bray (Ryan), of Rowlesburg; seven grandchildren, Raylynn, Devanee, Isaiah, Donnie, Rurick, Arabella, Rogann; siblings, Larry Bulford, Sidna Wilson, Rebecca Poling, Robin Sigley, Terry Bulford; brother in law, Harry Sisler (Heidi), Dee Sisler; sister in law, Joyce Bulford (Wally); father in law, Delmar Sisler; extended family, Nicole Shay (Jared), Paxton, Chad; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one brother, James Bulford; one sister, Penny Baker; one niece, Misty Bulford; and mother in law, Charlene Sisler.

Family and friends will be received at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St. Kingwood, from 12pm until the 2pm funeral hour on Sunday, October 12, 2025, with Pastor David Biggins officiating.
