Nancy Louise (Ringer) Cramer, 91 of Las Vegas, NV passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 with her loving daughter, Beth by her side. She was born in Snyder’s Crossing, WV, July 27, 1933, the daughter of the late Harry “Red” Ringer and Mildred “Mid” (Hatfield) Ringer. Her husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Cramer preceded her in death in 1999 as well as her son, Robert “Neil” in 2015.
Nancy was a graduate of Kingwood High School. She grew up at Camp Dawson, National Guard Camp in Preston County where her father, Red was caretaker for many years. Nancy married her high school sweetheart, Bob of Kingwood and from there they became a USAF military family and traveled extensively in the US from the east coast to the west coast before settling in Las Vegas, NV where they remained after Bob retired. Nancy dedicated her life to Cub Scouting and was honored with a Silver Beaver Award, Influential Woman in Scouting Award as well as earning her Wood Badge beads. She was one of the last “Trailblazers” in Scouting in Las Vegas, NV.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Beth (Jay) and Norma, both of Las Vegas, NV and several grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537 on Friday, January 17, 2025, visitation from 4 – 6 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025 with Reverend David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood, WV.
