Obituary
Paul A. Somerruk, III, 50, passed away on August 24th 2023, at his home in Kingwood.
Paul was born on December, the 30th 1972 in Kingwood West Virginia. He attended Preston high school and graduated in 1991. Paul was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan who enjoyed cheering on his team. He was an excellent mechanic and loved restoring old cars and also enjoyed hunting. Paul was a construction foreman in Morgantown up to 2004, the time he suffered a work-related accident.
Paul is survived by Jackie Gibson, his lifelong companion and best friend; his son and pride and joy, Shane Somerruk both of Morgantown; his mother, Kathy Helmick and stepbrother, Roger Terry of Masontown; and his father Paul Somerruk, Jr. and stepmother, Mary Somerruk of Kingwood.
He was proceeded in death by his step brother, Christopher Terry.
Friends may call at the Kingwood Funeral Home, S. Price Street on Monday, 2 to 4:00 PM.
Graveside services with Father Dominic Athishu will be held at the Maplewood Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023.
