Ralph Junior Craig, age 85, of Kingwood passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at his residence. He was born April 6, 1938 in Tunnelton, a son of the late James Everett and Sylvia Louise Craig.
His wife, Carrie (Castle) Craig preceded him in death in 2017.
Junior worked as a salesman for Preston Parts and a court bailiff for the Preston County Court. He was a veteran having served in the US Air Force.
He is survived by: one daughter, Marsha Craig, of Kingwood, and one son Steven Dale Craig, of Brooklyn Park, MD.; one granddaughter, Carrie Luisa Storey and Michael, of La Place, LA; one great granddaughter, Isabella Luisa Storey; and step grandsons, Connor and Chase Storey; one brother Terry Leo Craig and wife Kay, of Indianapolis, IN; brothers in law John Castle and wife Tina, of Kingwood and Bill and Cathy Castle, of West Des Moine, IA, sisters in law Barbara Castle, of Kingwood, and Donna and Gary Phillips, of Tunnelton, Christine Castle, of Kalamazoo, MI, and Linda and William Nine, of Terra Alta; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by brothers in law Joseph Castle and Robert Sigley.
Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, on Saturday from 3pm until 7pm. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 11am, at Rhodes Cemetery in Tunnelton. Full military honors will be accorded by the honor details of VFWs and Vietnam Veterans of Preston County.
