Randy Allen Hartman

Randy Allen Hartman, 68, cherished husband, son, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2023.  He passed on with his loving wife by his side.

Randy was born on March 28, 1955, in Morgantown, WV.  He was the son of Glendene (Gidley) Hartman and the late Junior Hartman.

In addition to his father, Randy is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Glenn Hartman;  sister-in-law Lisa Ann Livengood; mother- and father-in-law Mary Louise Lee and Ennis Kent Lee.  

In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by the love of his life, his beloved wife of 47 years, Kim (Lee) Hartman.  He is also survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Anthony) Favro; and Stephanie (William) Stiles, all of Kingwood, WV;  one brother Pat (Robin) Hartman of Aurora, WV;  6 grandchildren, Grace Favro (Brandon) of Barrackville, WV; Garrett Stiles (Raven) of Kingwood, WV; Emma Favro (Cordell) of Bruceton Mills, WV;  Blake Stiles of Kingwood, WV;  Tony Favro of Kingwood, WV;  Kyra Stiles of Kingwood, WV; special cousin Stanley (Nancy) Teets;  and many nieces, nephews, cousins and “adopted” family.

Family was the heart of Randy’s life.  There was nothing more important to him than the love of his family and close friends and time spent with them.  He adored his wife, cherished his daughters and tolerated his sons-in-law.  He had a special relationship with his grandkids, telling each of them they were his favorite.

Randy’s lifelong passion was hunting, from early days with his dad, brothers and cousins to recent times with his kids and grandkids.

Randy was a valued member of The Grace House church, where he loved to sing along and tap his foot to “I’ll Fly Away.”

Randy was a surveyor by trade.  Like his father before him, he was a master tinkerer, never running across anything he couldn’t rig up to work.

Randy loved as deeply as he was loved.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received at the Grace House, 8902 South Preston Highway, Tunnelton, WV 26444 on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 12 pm until the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm with Pastor Anthony Favro officiating.
