Renee Lynn (Daugherty) Summers

Renee Lynn (Daugherty) Summers, age 46, of Kingwood passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, in Morgantown, WV. She was born August 19, 1977 in Jeannette, PA, a daughter of the late James Francis Daugherty and Beverly Ann (Baughman) Daugherty, who survives of Kingwood.  In addition to her mother she is also survived by her husband, Jeremy L. Summers

Renee was a hairstylist and owned her own shop, Hi Class Cuts, she was a 1995 graduate of Preston High School and a graduate of the Morgantown Beauty Academy. Renee loved her clients and spending time with family, friends, and fur babies. She enjoyed camping, painting, construction, riding side by sides, and kayaking.

In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by: one son, Bryson Stonebraker, of Kingwood; a stepson, Jeremy Summers and wife Alysha, of Albright; one brother, Jim Daugherty and wife Stephanie, of Clayton, NC; one sister, Michele Corbin and husband Jason, of Fairmont; nephews, Jacob Corbin and Cole Daugherty; nieces, Madison Corbin and Kaylee Daugherty; and a special buddy Gracie.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV on Sunday from 1 – 5 pm, and Monday from 9 am until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am, Monday, February 19, 2024 at the funeral home. Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
