Roger Haskiell

Roger Haskiell, 77 of Kingwood died Monday October 3, 2022 at Mon General Hospital with loving family by his side.

He was born October 27, 1944, in Kingwood, a son of the late George and Georgia McCrobie Haskiell.

Roger was loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he was a roof bolter and worked in several coal mines, a member of the UMWA District 31 in Fairmont. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his favorite football team the Las Vegas Raiders.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hilda McNear Haskiell, four sons, Roger Haskiell, Jr and wife, Kim of Kingwood, Darrell Haskiell and wife, Eva of Morgantown, Kirby Haskiell and Curtis  Haskiell both of Kingwood; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren;  two brothers, Donald Haskiell of Tunnelton and Joe Haskiell of Kingwood, two sisters, Lottie Walters of Grafton and Aggie Johnson of Newburg.

Family will receive friends at Kingwood Funeral Home on Saturday October 8, 2022 from 2-4 pm the funeral hour with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.
