Roger Alan Rosier, 58, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away on October 20, 2018, at Pine Ridge nursing facility, Kingwood, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Roger, known to friends as “Lil’ Itch,” was born July 12, 1960, in Sharon, PA, the son of the late Carl Junior “Itchie” Rosier and Bonnie Alberta (Criss) Rosier.
Roger was a lifelong resident of Tunnelton. He was an auto body repairman and mechanic by profession. He enjoyed hunting, watching the Mountaineers play, word search puzzles and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his furry friends, Dexter, Izzy and Harley.
Roger is survived by three brothers and spouses, Doug and Martha Rosier and Tim Rosier, of Tunnelton; Scott and Debbie Rosier of Morgantown; one sister and spouse, Carla and Tony Durham, of South Vienna, OH. He has seven nephews: Greg and Stephen Sigley (fiancée Carly Kelley); Tristan (Erinn), Austin, and Isaiah (Nikki) Rosier; Justin Rosier and Charlie (Chelsea Rushford) Uphold as well as one niece, Ashleigh Rosier. He also has three great nephews, Eli Rosier, D’Anthony Hriblan and Carson Uphold; and a great niece, Amelia Rosier.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by two sisters, Kim and Rebecca “Becky” Rosier as well as his niece, Courtney Rosier.
As per Roger’s wishes, his cremation is under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel and Crematory. Interment will be private, for immediate family only, in Denver/Shaw Cemetery.
