Rose Ann (Spiker) Moats, 76, of Albright, WV, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on May 5, 1948 in Kingwood, WV, daughter of the late Dewey Spiker and Leah (Wilhelm) Spiker.
Rose was a graduate of Kingwood High School and she was a homemaker. Rose enjoyed fishing, crocheting, cooking, baking and playing computer games with her sisters.
Rose is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Arthur Moats, of Albright; two sons, Bryon Moats (Kathy), Jeremiah Moats, both of Albright; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky Spiker, of Reedsville, Randy Spiker; two sisters, JoAnn Colvin, of Tunnelton, Linda Osmanski, of Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her two daughters, Joanie Moats, Janie Belcher; a grandson, Christian Abbarra; and one brother, Kenneth Spiker.
Friends and family may call at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood WV 26537, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 10am until the 12pm funeral hour, with Chaplin Dennis Lusin officiating. Interment will follow at Shays Chapel Cemetery.
