Roy Robert "Bobby" Leggett

Roy Robert “Bobby” Leggett, 60, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 2, 2023, with his loving wife, Robin Racquel (Metheny) Leggett by his side.   He was born in Weston, September 22, 1962, a son of Edward Hugh and Betty May (Sphar) Leggett. Bobby worked as a tree-trimmer/arborist and had his own business for many years.

He enjoyed cooking, camping and swimming.  He cherished his family and had a heart of gold – always looking for ways to help others.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by five children: Joshua Leggett, Cody Leggett, Tyler Metheny, Jacob Miller, and Ashly Metheny; brothers: Kenny Leggett, Lewis Leggett, Jimmy Leggett, and Gene Leggett; sister, Martha Teets; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Leggett, and two sisters: Sandy McAtee, and Shirley Sirbaugh.  

To honor Bobby’s wishes a private service will be held at a later time.
