Sandra Jean White

Sandra Jean (Overfield) White, 82, of Kingwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born June 1, 1941, in Reedsville, WV, a daughter of the late William Gay Overfield and Jessie Lee (Watkins) Overfield. Her husband, Robert Zane White survives. They were united in marriage July 30, 1966.

Sandra was a 1959 graduate of Morgantown High School, and a graduate of Morgantown Beauty College. She was a homemaker and a beautician. She had a strong Christian faith, and was a member of the CEC Evangelic Church. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow and succeed in all of their activities. She also enjoyed participating in mission work, vacation bible school, decorating, cooking, hosting and catering family gatherings. Her favorite past time was singing with the love of her life, Bob.

In addition to her husband she is survived by: two daughters, Wendy Livengood and husband Rusty, of Bruceton Mills, WV and Kelley Hackley and husband Greg, of Culpeper, VA; three grandchildren, Haley Livengood, of Morgantown, WV, Mason Hackley, and Zane Hackley,of Culpeper, VA; two sisters, Shirley Rembert, of Lewisville, OH, and Judy Bryon, of Elyria, OH, and several nieces and nephew.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: five brothers, Keith, Dair, James, Clifford, and Perry Overfield; and three sisters, Betty, Bonnie and Tee Girl.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV, on Thursday from 11 am until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm, Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Cumberland officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Memorial Park, Reedsville, WV
