Susan Louise Sapp, 72, of Albright, WV, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 28, 1951, in Tunnelton, daughter of the late Steen Bud Sapp and Lalah Madie (Stull) Sapp.
Susan was a graduate of Kingwood High School and was a CNA at Hopemont State Hospital. She enjoyed dancing with her fiancé Kent and singing karaoke. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved them deeply.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Amy Lynn Sapp, of Albright; fiancé, Kent Rollins, of Lost Creek; two grandsons, Jordon Armstrong, of Terra Alta, Nathan Leggett, of Howesville; two granddaughters, Alexis Swanson (Jimmy), of Tunnelton, Morgan Leggett (Justin), of Philippi; one brother, Kevin “Buck” Sapp (Linda), of Bruceton Mills; four sisters, Edith Spiker (John), of Tunnelton, Joyce Blake (Nelson), of Morgantown, Linda Sigley (Terry), of Philippi, Nillia Sapp, of Kingwood; five great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Wyatt, Brynnliegh, Layne, Kyleigh; and several nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by one daughter, Terrie Leggett; one grandson, Dillon Armstrong; three brothers, Jeff Sapp, Kenneth Sapp, Camden “Bob” Sapp; and one sister, Alda Miller.
Friends and family may be received at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 12pm to the 2pm funeral hour, with Reverend Joe Lamm officiating. Interment will follow at the Camp Ground Cemetery.
