Terry passed on June 8, 2026, with his loving family by his side. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, deep friendships, and an unwavering love for his family.

A true outdoorsman at heart, Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman who felt most at home with a fishing rod in his hand or waiting patiently in the woods. Nature was his sanctuary, and the stories of his outdoor adventures will be told and retold by his loved ones for years to come.

In his professional life, Terry was the proud and successful owner of a local concrete business. He built his company from the ground up through grit, determination, and an honest day’s work, earning the immense respect of his colleagues and the community. He was an avid reader, enjoying the tales of George R.R. Martin.

Yet, his most important and cherished role was as a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather. His family was the absolute center of his world. Terry will live on through his loving wife, Tammy, of Kingwood; his daughters, Tiffany Smith (Greg) and Haley Morris (Woody), both of Morgantown; and his most treasured possessions, his five grandchildren, Maelee, Greyson, Calliope, Jordis, and Rafferty.

Terry leaves behind an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends, and all who knew him.
