Thomas Glen “Tom” Johnson, 66, of Albright, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on October 30, 1958, in Kingwood, WV, to the late Bobby Lee Johnson and Nancy Rebecca Childers.
Tom was a dedicated mechanic who worked tirelessly in the coal mines for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting deer, fishing at Smoke Hole, cutting grass, and playing golf. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family, and his love for them was unwavering.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Wolfe Johnson; his son, Hary Wolfe, of Hazelton; his daughters, Stormy Fullmer, of Kingwood, and Windy Miller, of Martinsburg; six brothers, Gerald, Larry, Perry, David, Tony and Louis; eight grandchildren, Elijah, Bruce, Cade, Jacob, Violet, Tristan, Layne, and Aiden; and his great-grandson, Westin.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by three brothers: Timothy, Nute, and Dean.
Visitation will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S Price Street, Kingwood, WV, on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Joe Lamm officiating. Internment will follow at Childers Cemetery.
Tom’s memory will live on through his family and friends, who will remember him for his kindness, hard work, and deep love for those around him.
