Virginia "Jenny" (Snyder) Dixon

Virginia “Jenny” Arlene (Snyder) Dixon, 74, of Kingwood, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Murl and Leola (Savage) Snyder.  Her husband, Charles William Dixon survives, they were united in marriage December 31, 1967.

Jenny was a homemaker, she was a great baker, and looked forward to family reunions, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandkids and great grandkids.

In addition to her husband she is survived by:  three sons, Ike Dixon and  Kim, Vince Dixon and Tonya, and Kevin Dixon and Laura; one brother, Ken Snyder; three sisters, Ida Fizer, Margaret Moore, and Helen Fowler; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Zachary, Bailey Grace, Ryder and Kash Dixon, Sable Backus; and six great grandchildren, Paige Dixon,  Dax Dixon, Wyatt Dixon, Ellie Backus, Lilyanne Backus, Magnolia Backus.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: three brothers, Francis, Lenzie, and Donald Snyder; six sisters, Thelma Lambert, Mary Auvil, Betty Dixon, Janet Starcher, Beulah Hughes, and Debra Miller; and one great granddaughter, Reese Noelle Dixon.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4 – 7 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am, at the funeral home, Thursday, December 28, 2023. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
