Virginia "Lucille" (Wolfe) Haskiell

Virginia "Lucille" (Wolfe) Haskiell, 79 of Tunnelton was called home on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at her residence with family by her side. She was born March 26, 1946 in Masontown, daughter of the late Ruben Waitman and Alice Pearl Goodwin Wolfe.  

Lucille had worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals. She cherished gospel music, reading her bible, doing puzzle books, and scrapbooking precious family memories. She was a devoted member of the West End Brethren Church. Most of all, Lucille was a loving mother, maw, sister, friend and neighbor.  

Lucille is survived by three daughters and spouses, Frances "Butch" Herndon and Mark of Tunnelton, Cathy Orosz and Michael of Morgantown, Georgia "Candy" Hovatter and Doug of Grafton; daughter-in-law, Marie Haskiell, Marquess; grandchildren, Melissa Herndon and fiancé Kyle Stotler, Matthew Herndon and MaKayla Kelly, Jonathan Baylor, Derek Baylor and Caroline, Robert Baylor and Joanna, Ryan Hovatter, Chad Hovatter and Maria, Tyler Hovatter and Mary, Nicholas Haskiell and Nela, Jacob Haskiell and Kasey; nine great grandchildren, Liam, Maerin, MaKenna, Carson, Nolan, Grace, Warren, Samuel, and Levi; one sister, Bonnie Sue Shaffer (Raymond) Masontown; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George F. Haskiell Sr., whom she married on June 30, 1962 and passed on April 3, 2010; her son, George F. "Jake" Haskiell Jr., who is sadly, missed every day; four brothers, Junior Wolfe, Donald Wolfe, Roger Wolfe and Freddie Wolfe; one sister, Shirley Jean Johnson.

Family and friends will be received at Kingwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 3–7 PM and at West End Brethren Church on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with Pastor Rick Snider officiating.
