Obituary
William “Bill” Edward Mankins, 60, of Reedsville, entered eternal rest, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023.
He was born February the 11th, 1963 a son of Bernice (Kelly) Mankins and the late Claude Lee Mankins, Jr.
Bill was a US Marine Corps veteran. He worked at Pratt & Whitney after his discharge, and later for Rainbow Tire, Peaslee’s Service Center and currently, he was working at Spike's Chimney Sweep in Reedsville.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys.
Survivors include his mother, Bernice (Kelly) Mankins; two sons: William Fox Mankins and companion, Nicole Chatterton, of Tunnelton and Christopher Scott Mankins, and wife Alexis, of Kingwood; two grandchildren, Sage Dawn and River Scott Mankins; and several Aunts and Uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Gregory Scott Mankins.
Friends may call at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 4 – 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023.
Graveside services will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, in Grafton at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 with full military honors.
