Wilma Jean (Trout) Keefer

Wilma Jean (Trout) Keefer, 83, of Friendsville, Maryland, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Uniontown Hospital. She was born on October 17, 1942 in Terra Alta, daughter of the late Charles Theodore and Pansy Grace (Hull) Trout.

Wilma attended Terra Alta High School. She also had been a pilot car driver for a heavy equipment company with her husband, Getty. Wilma enjoyed singing, playing piano, going to church and making wreaths and other crafts. She was a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother. Wilma will be missed dearly by her friends and family.

Wilma is survived by one son, Mark Keefer and wife Sherrie, of Friendsville; two daughters, Crystal Keefer, of Friendsville, Cindy Kisner and husband Rick, of Corinth; six grandchildren, Allen, Lily, Matt, John, Jennifer and her husband Dustin, Jerry; two great grandchildren, Maddie, Peyton; and one sister, Ruby Martin, of NC.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Getty Wayne Keefer; one grandchild, Jessica; three brothers, Tom Trout, Jim Trout, Joseph Trout; and one sister, Leoma Masters and her best friend, Evalene DeBerry

Friends and family will be received at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price St. Kingwood, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 11am until the 1pm funeral hour, with Reverends Tim Warnick and Bob Hoover. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
